World of Blue - Archived Forum 2007-2022

Not sure if anybody has brought this up already but there's a David Lynch mash-up album due to be released this weekend, fantastically named 'Mashed In Plastic'. The website is: http://www.mashedinplastic.co.uk/
In addition to the ones on the site there is a mash-up of Kylie's fantasitc track, '2 hearts' (find here: http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=KZ7vouJFNdU ) with the 'Dance of the Dream Man'. Tis quite fantastical & should be something to look forward to.

At first I wasn't sure what to think from the videos, but I downloaded this album (the track by track version) and played it all the way through. Everyone involved did a great job on this album!

So did anyone else get it? What version did you download and what were your impressions?

The audio of Lynch reading, is that from him reading his big fish book or what?

I love especially "blue rigby ", "tori's deranged", "i'll be there in twin peaks", "the elephant connection" and "the pink jack". I don't like "In My Twin Life" - music is too slow and it doesn't fit here IMO. The rest is great. It's my favorite album of this month

Yep. It's from audiobook of the big fish.

Thanks to everyone who has downloaded the "Mashed in Plastic" album and blogged about it across the Net, we love you all.

Work is ongoing on the video side of things, as I get the time to put more together - recent additions include videos for "Don't Go All Wicked On Me" and "Blue Rigby" (posted just last night). Hopefully within a few months we'll have videos together for the entire collection.

I can't stop listening this for over a year! And now i can watch it from DVD! WOW!

PS: Part number 13 on main download site is corrupted. File from the alternative site works good (just change the name of it to match the rest of the files).
