LYNCH Art Exhibit-Book of Show SPAIN 1992

I recently discovered this DL Art Book from his show in Valencia, Spain from May to June 1992. There is a total of 161 pages with photos and paintings as well as an interview, some of which I have never seen before. Below is just a very small sample of what was inside. The interview spans 10 pages conducted by Kristine McKenna on March 8, 1992 at Lynch's Hollywood Home. Before that is a few essays on lynch and his fine art (photographs, paintings) work. There are 64 pages of Photos and 50 pages of paintings by DL with an index in the back describing the name, size and material of each painting. The pages are starting to fall out of the book so I didn't want to take a chance scanning more than I did. But I think you get the picture...

That's a beautiful book.

It looks like The Air Is On Fire exhibition catalogue has gone out of print. Fortunately I bought a couple of extra copies in case mine falls apart. Amazon and sellers on Ebay are already hawking copies for larcenous amounts of money.

I've never seen The Air Is On Fire exhibition catalogue or on eBay. I mean I have the BIG YELLOW book but is this something different? Would love to buy one...even off eBay. I'll start looking.

Fear not, the exhibition catalogue is the big yellow book. At the exhibition and there was a 4-sided A4 flyer that could be described as a program of sorts, and a Beaux Arts magazine devoted to The Air Is On Fire, as well as French and English language editions of the exhibition catalogue.
