Just a few scenes. I hadn't the time (and mood) to watch full film. I'm kind of afraid to watch it. I hope it wouldn't destroy my vision of David Lynch....Annie wrote:Okay qbin2001, did you watch it; can you give us a review? Thanks.

Ooh, that sounds scary...maybe I don't want to see it, either.

How was it?qbin2001 wrote:My DVD with "David wants to fly " came yesterday. I'll watch it tonight probably.
The trailer looked pretty cool with some nice camera shots.

Re: Catching the Big Fish - the Documentary
I posted my review elsewhere. Definitely see the Documentary "David Wants To Fly". It was well put together, very informative and completely eye opening.
And after seeing it, I find no reason for David Lynch to make his own documentary on the Maharishi. At the end of the doc, the "other" David journeys all the way to the Himalayas and meets the man who is the heir apparent to Guru Dev (The Maharishi's Teacher) in a small temple at the foot of the snowy mountains. He says the Maharishi was a bookkeeper in the temple who was sent out to teach others across the world about meditation but was never meant to be a "guru" and was definitely not supposed to charge money for his teachings. I'm not giving too much away as there are some other interesting revelations throughout.
I'll repeat from my other post. David Lynch does not appear in a bad light at all in this doc. You can actually see how impassioned he is and how much Lynch wants to do good for others.
