Gus The Bartender

Post by frompureair »

Always loved Davids character on the Cleveland show which I thought was way ahead of its time and should have been revived like Family Guy but that's another story. Always wondered how David ended up on it as it just seemed so different from anything else he had done which made it so great and funny. Was one of the shows creators a fan of Lynch's? Also feel free to discuss Gus' greatest hits. The pumpkin carving contest by Harrison Gords was one of my favorites.

A friend and I are doing a graphic novel and one of the characters is kind of a tribute to David and I try to think of his mannerisms when writing for him and it gels so perfectly. I think he would approve and if it ever becomes anything I'll want him to voice him and it's good knowing that he'd be open to the idea. Anyways back on track...
