Lynch in Vienna

Post by Teopeaks »

Lynch is in Vienna tomorrow to talk about his Invicible University which he would like to settle in Vienna. There's a screening of Mulholland Drive and he will talk afterwards. A friend of mine is going. Lucky her.

Just wondering if either of you will be there to see David's talk. Please report back if you go. Thanks!

I won't be there but I'll meet my friend in Paris next week, she'll tell me what happened and I'll report you back.

Translation of the article:
Famous american director David Lynch is touring Europe and is visiting many cities in order to introduce his project of a Peace and Education programm and to put the groundstone of a private university - Invincible University - in different countries.

last week david had a conference about TM in Berlin and it seems something went wrong.
here's a report from TIME:
http://www.time.com/time/world/article/ ... 82,00.html
and here an article from reuters about the TM school david wants to build there:
http://www.reuters.com/article/domestic ... 5120071116

(i'm writing here because i think opening a thread everytime david holds a conference on TM is unnecessary. maybe we need only one conferences thread)

Yhis is really annoying the lack of info there is about Lynch european tour. Nothing was said about his coming to Berlin or even Vienna on official websites.

I believe there was no real intention to promote the German events as broadly as possible. The Cologne event seems to have been very nice, with Lynch taking questions about his films and signing autographs for a completely sold out audience (some 1.000 people), mostly consisting of students.

You'll find some relevant information in English and German here (both will be expanded):
