I don't understand why the hell is so difficult to release a dvd in all the regions in the same time. Not in all the coutries of the world, just in all the continents!
I don't understand why the hell i should buy a 40€ japanese dvd (made by thirdy parts, not sure by david or related) to see lynch (one) instead of search a torrent of it. DAMN!

Received it yesterday, such a beautiful thing!
There is a photograph of David (like 18x13), and a black envelope with IE pictures in it, and i liked the Lynch movie so much.

*IE has no english subtitles whatsoever, but the picture is brighter.
There's a place i'd like to show you. Near the ocean. It's very secluded.
I think you'll understand me better if you come with me.

First of all, this edition is not deleted. It is still widely available from HMV Japan Amazon JP and a couple of other sites.HMV is in English instead of Amazon which only translate titles etc. Also, HMV provides the same shipping method as Amazon but 50% cheaper.Christian1989 perhaps you mean 18,000 JPY?This means that you payed 170$,which by the way is not a lot of money for the average Norwegian.

Sorry if this has already been asked - does the Lynch One doc have subtitles in English, or is the audio English anyway?

thanks!

(I ask as the documentary is really the only reason for me to order this and I am on the edge of ordering via HMV today!)

When i say it's out of print i mean that it will not be pressed again. It is a limited first pressing only. It was really deleted after they pressed the initial batch. Retailers only have what's left in stock. Just because retailers still have stock left is no indication of it's OOP status.

Mine shipped at February 29th and arrived today. It also has the Venice Press kit but in smaller size! Also,HMV had this picture of DL as a gift:

Except for the luck of extras in IE,i am extremely happy for the script, the book and Lynch ONE (it's a DVD5 but it's only 85 minutes instead of IE which is 180 so the picture quality is the same as the movie disc).
