Re: Cannes 2008, Poster and visual identity inspired by Lynch...
Wow, that's really something! Welcome diegojavs--no bad English there! The link to the Cannes site states "This tribute to the talent of David Lynch sets the tone for the 61st annual Festival de Cannes." Makes me wonder if there's something else in the works...

Is it just me or is anybody out there interested in Cannes? They just posted the schedule for the movies. Surveillance will be shown "out of competition" on May 21.
Looks like Cannes is kind of far from Paris--any of our Frenchmen going?

Re: Cannes 2008
Hello everyone,
I was just reading an article, in French (http://www.purepeople.com/9029-PHOTOS-V ... lise-.html) where it actually says that the picture is indeed from David Lynch.
A man named Pierre Collier did the design of the "poster", but the picture is from David Lynch himself. The woman whose picture he took is named Nooka Karamel and she's a dancer in the Crazy Horse in Paris. A kind of cabaret à la Moulin Rouge.

Re: Cannes 2008
It's another good year at Cannes for the Lynch family.
Jennifer Lynch showed her film and David Lynch was announced producer of two very interesting projects.

Thanks for posting that. We posted more under the Jennifer Lynch thread; it looks like they had a great time with Surveillance.
