That would be a great way of getting Remembrances and the superb Double R/MT Wentz version of Falling out there, both criminal omissions from the Volume 2 soundtrack. Fingers crossed!

I'm sure like most things it will be gauged on actual interest. Obviously the original soundtrack sold fairly well, but does anybody know how the second soundtrack did?

Of course, the music industry as a whole is a different beast these days.

If I remember correctly, the original release was Warner Bros.? If so, that would be ripe picking for Rhino to do a deluxe reissue/rerelease. Here's hoping...

It'll probably be re-released with different artwork, and the actual song arrangements will be replaced by David Lynch just humming them all.

And we will all gladly line up to purchase a copy...

A friend of mine and I used to joke that we wouldn't having an 8 hour video tape of Lynch planting peanuts. Some of the extra stuff that's been included on recent releases are the equivalent...Still, I'm hoping for that Lynch Peanut Video!

My local record shop has a couple of still-sealed copies in their Warner "cheap bin" for 5.99. So, their brand new. Used copies pop up from time to time. I don't know what the Ebay market gets for these. Anyone want a copy, let me know.

Wow, Jerry, I didn't realize the second one was out of print, too. Hmmmm,
I hope we do have a big surprise in the works...

Well, the Season Two soundtrack could be doing a price reduction, after all, the FWWM soundtrack just got re-listed at $5.98 mrp (are they trying to get rid of remaining stock?) Who knows though. Why has the original soundtrack been unavailable for a fairly long length of time now? I think the 20th anniversary is our last chance to get more music. After that I will shut the hell up

Lynch will be doing something to mark the event. Right?

With bonus tracks?? :o

Normally, I like physical CD releases, however, at this point, I'll take mp3's of any unreleased track. I've heard that they have to pay all the musicians all over again for any release, so that makes it very expensive to release the old tracks, however, there is now a clause in the American Music Assc. that says you can pay much less if you keep the release to 3000 copies or so. This has lead to some incredible soundtrack releases recently. Unfortunately, some of them sell out in days if not hours. I have to admit that when I heard Lynch was rebranding his his site to music, the music from Twin Peaks was the first thing I thought of. Jeesh, I'd love to see a 2 cd complete set of music from 'On The Air' in a nice Lynch designed package limited to 3000 copies.

I've been led to believe that there will be some unreleased vintage Lynch tracks but no word on which ones.
