Continuing on from this thread...

I tried a few automated click-removal processes, but they all had a detrimental effect on the song itself, so that was no good. What I've done is tried to iron out (by hand) all the most obvious pops in the quieter bits of the song, particularly the fade-out. To go through the whole thing will take far too long for anyone not being paid to do it, but I don't think it should badly affect your enjoyment of the audio. Maybe I'll do little bits to it over time, and come back in a few years with a completely restored version. The WAV was compressed at LAME V0 VBR quality in Exact Audio Copy.

Ah, sorry about the dead link. Normally I'd host files on my own web-space, but given this is copyrighted material (albeit material that was only ever released on an industry-only 7" record, nearly twenty years ago) I didn't want to worry about potential writs. Hopefully there are enough copies out there now to never need to re-upload it myself, but if you can't find it by other means, give me a shout.
