Right- they created the James version & the Cheerleader version by looping the original. Too bad they didn't release a looped version like that.

Ross wrote: Here's where it appears in the series:
Episode 1
-Very briefly mixed with a "noise" effect when Leo beats Shelly.

Episode 17:
Two scenes with Nadine:
-Ed & Jacoby talk to the asst. Principal (this is the full original version)
-Nadine's Cheerleader tryout

Episode 18:
-James rides out of Twin Peaks during the opening credits.
-briefly as James pulls into Wally's
Isn't it also in Lynch's Episode 14, during the scene when Big Ed & Nadine visit the diner and chat with Norma and Shelly? ("Oh! You're such a KIDDER!")

My prediction is that it's either going to be "Americana" or the "Audrey's Prayer" alternate version where Audrey says goodbye to Cooper. Or the "Norwiegans are Leaving" music.
Congrats on nailing that prediction!

What's it to be next week?

Yeah, I'd have liked a looped version about that length, but with a dramatic ending rather than the fade (although it is faded out in Ep 18). Two guitar licks just aren't enough!:)

(That was a reply to Ross from a few posts up.)

Yes it does, briefly, before segueing into Freshly Squeezed (Bass Clarinet Version).

Good memory! Just updated my music guide with that.

Ahhhh! You're right! I had forgotten that one. Most of the scene plays out over Freshly Squeezed (Bass Clarinet), but they do play about 15 or 18 seconds of "Americana" when they first enter the RR. Anybody remember any other places?

Maybe, given the brevity of Americana, they'll release another track later in the week.

HAHA! Yes, I woke up this morning and had a big grin on my face when I saw that I was right. :D

I'll say it's too soon to make a guess at this point (I can't feel it in the air yet!) but I will predict it's going to be something on the "sad" side next. Perhaps Leland's Wake/Audrey's Prayer.

On the other hand, I do believe the Double-R Swing from FWWM is coming soon!

Updated my site with art for "Americana"- this one's been done for a while because I figured it was coming. Turned out pretty cool.

Any idea how many more of these tracks will be released? I'd like to wait to purchase them as a whole. (After 20 years, I figure I can wait a few more weeks)
