I've pretty much embraced my nerdiness. The fact that I'm even on this forum or even talking about Twin Peaks is a testament to that xD

...Twin Peaks is older than I am! And yet it's better than 95% of today's TV and its music is better than... well, ALL of modern music!

Huge thanks to Dean from me.

Don't often post, but have been downloading the archive in chucks over the past year.

It's been a quite incredible ride and I never thought that this much of Twin Peak history would ever be made available. I don't think a project on this scale has ever been achieved before.

Thank you so much Dean. Amazing work.

YES!! That's another interesting piece that I hope Dean can include in this last bundle. Basically starting from when Leland turns on the fan, through Sarah seeing the horse, and BOB entering the bedroom and Laura's screams as she recognizes Leland. Great, eerie stuff.

You Killed Mike (Unmixed Full Original)
You know, considering all unmixed FWWM pieces is a much more music
1. DARK MOTIF #1 - LAURA AND HAROLD
- Laura and Harold (mixed with Unease motif)
- Laura and Leland in the car talk about the One-armed man

2. DARK MOTIF #2 - COOPER'S EXPERIMENT
- before Phillipp Jeffries's appearance (mixed with other elements)
- way to the train car (mixed with other elements)

3. DARK MOTIF #3 - THE MAN BEHIND THE MASK
- Laura carefully goes through the house (mixed with slow-speed background)

4. DARK MOTIF #4 - AWFUL TRUTH (perhaps it's orchestral background from film versions of Mysterioso ##1/2)
- Laura under the bush - "It's not him!"
- Laura and Donna - "Are you my best friend?"
- Laura and Leland - before "Wash your hands"
- Laura and Leland - "Wash your hands" (mixed with Uneasy motif)

5. DARK TREMOLO
- Teresa's autopsy (at the beginning mixed with 24 hours)
- Phillipp Jeffries's trip (mixed with other elements)
- "I wanna taste throught your mouth" (short excerpt in the final)
- Laura, Leland and the one-armed man - "It's your father!" (mixed with other elements)
- Laura and Leland in the car talk about the One-armed man (short excerpt in the final)
- way to the train car (mixed with other elements)
I'm not X-files fan but... damn, the truth is really out there!

I second that, very creepy, with the sound of the fan in the background.
I just don't like the name "Bob Rapes Laura". It should be something like Night Visitor, more sutile ;)

Agreed! Night Visitor is a good title. But in any case, I really hope we get this one in the final bundle since the interest is there!

I too would love this track, whatever they wanna call it. How about Night Fan? Dean should decide on this one. :)

Was Shelly Quits (MySpace release) used or unused? Are there no other 'clean' versions?

After James visits Laura and Laura visits Harold... Bob visits Laura would be good

The version from MySpace is actually the same as the version released on the soundtrack, which is the original version. The MySpace version was merely an edit that was missing the first section (intro) of the track. The Shelly quits TV scene features the intro but loops the middle section and doesn't use the latter section with the bells.

I must have missed that revelation!

It still sounds suitably different, and appealing to the ears - more so than many alternate versions and mixes in the Archive! Fingers crossed it is still there somewhere - I'd like it in Archive quality sound.
