So, what and where is Half Speed Orchestra 4?
(Possibly the half speed version of The Mill Deal (Josie and Jonathon))

Great! But really strange title for the bundle, isn't it? More suitable for the overall archive's subtitle.

Well that little lot should cross a few off the various lists! I hope Dean has a good trip, and look forward to more from the Archive later this year.

Am i the only one who is super-stoked with this release??? I must admit, i'm quite surprised by the lack of enthusiasm for some of these tracks.

Much thanks to Dean for giving us a nice, big bundle before his absence. I'm so pumped to have Leo's Theme finally!
Re: Unreleased Twin Peaks Music Announcements - Official Thr
I guess they got confused with the naming of "Plotting Theme/Josie's Web". They seem to take many names from Guy's lists. And here's what he wrote for "The Mill Deal" and its slowed-down version:
-- Plotting: Leo and Ben discuss the plan to burn down the mill. A slower, darker version of this appears in Episode 13, when Jonathan pressures Josie to return to Hong Kong and Mr. Eckhardt
-- Josie's Web: A pounding, ominous track used to underscore Josie's dark side. Technically debuted in Episode 4, in the track Plotting, when Leo and Ben plan the burning of the mill, but it gets the full treatment in this episode as Harry tears off her new dress, and in Episode 13 during Josie and Jonathan's post-coitus discussion of her return to Hong Kong,
But that's not the track they released. Its actually what we had called "Horne's Theme".

And the artwork for Wheeler's theme HAS to be a picture of him in the big ugly sweater.DEniZZrus wrote:Well, Ross... So many art-job for you now...

Ross has A LOT of work to do
Earle's Theme is excellent - glad we are finally getting that really late 2nd season Earle plot music in the library now to flesh out that storyline
Leo's Theme is probably my personal fave of the bundle - dark first season theme I thought would be released with Slow Speed 2.
Hank's and Wheeler's we've all been waiting for from the beginning. Nice payoff.
ITL is not really my thing as much as the others, but I enjoyed the Lovers Dilemma the most.
Lana's is nice to have, but maybe because I don't like her character I have an unfair bias
Plotting was the pleasant surprise of the bundle - couldn't place it until I heard it. And then an image formed. A bizarre tennis match outside Jacques' apartment followed by police raid and Bobby escaping just in the nick of time. Love the more minor tracks in comparison to the main themes getting released.
Think this bundle will tide us all over until November. Most wanted tracks currently are FWWM, Giants Theme, Leo Attacks Shelly, Civil War, and Mill Deal(you guys have me really curious about this one).

I guess Leo's rebirth is more appropriate title. In fact Leo attacked Shelly repeatedly though (with soap in a sock for example).Leo Attacks Shelly
As for Plotting - I guess it should be called just Plotting without Josie's web subtitle. In my personal list Josie's web titled as Josie & Jonathan.

Does anyone have a complete list of the released tracks that are considered to be wrongly named, and more appropriate names for them?

Re: Unreleased Twin Peaks Music Announcements - Official Thr
There are only two for the moment:
LAURA PALMER'S THEME - LETTERS FROM HAROLD should be titled as LAURA PALMER'S THEME - GUARDIAN ANGEL or LAURA PALMER'S THEME (synth chorus version)
PLOTTING THEME (JOSIE'S WEB) should be called as PLOTTING THEME

Re: Unreleased Twin Peaks Music Announcements - Official Thr
Yeah- I'll just leave it as "Plotting Theme" even though that's not entirely appropriate either. Hopefully we still get "The Mill Deal". And the slow version ("Josie & Jonathan") as well since it contains additional mixed elements in addition to just being slowed down.DEniZZrus wrote:As for Plotting - I guess it should be called just Plotting without Josie's web subtitle.
