Does anybody know which piece of music is heard during the FWWM scene where Leland rapes Laura?

Do you mean in the bedroom? I guess it's not music theme but just long whistle sound effect.
By the way another version of TWIN PEAKS THEME is still unreleased! It's harp version - Doc Hayward's story about little Nicky.

Are you sure? I could have sworn there was a piece there. Maybe a minimalist one?DEniZZrus wrote:Do you mean in the bedroom? I guess it's not music theme but just long whistle sound effect.

Yes!! They (davidlynch.com) actually used a snippet of this version to make the released version of the "Nostalgia Version" (this portion was not present in the televised version). But the complete solo harp version heard in the Little Nicky scene remains unreleased. I'm surprised they didn't release the solo harp version with that bundle.DEniZZrus wrote:By the way another version of TWIN PEAKS THEME is still unreleased! Its more sound design than anything. A combination of wind noises and a thumping fan sound and a few whistling synths.Fred&Ginger wrote:Are you sure? I could have sworn there was a piece there. I think you may be right. But it's really the genius of David Lynch that he can make that sound like a composition!Ross wrote:Its more sound design than anything. A combination of wind noises and a thumping fan sound and a few whistling synths.

So maybe they should put it in the Experiments section on DL.com ?Fred&Ginger wrote:I think you may be right. They really carry new release from Tuesdays over to Thursdays? As new tracks always were released on Tuesday early morning except the last one. And now it's already too late for "Tuesday early morning" release...

Fingers crossed that, because the holiday made last week's release two days late, they've staggered things so this week they'll be one day late, and next week we'll be back to normal.

You know, David's in Paris at the moment opening the Silencio club. If his sound and/or web team went with him, we could see a short delay.
