Any further details? Is this Angelo only music or a mix with the artists appearing in the show?

Pitchfork reporting there will be two soundtracks - one songs, one music (although it's not terrifically clear the difference.)

My guess is that there will be a volume of songs and another more trad soundtrack with the shorter cues and instrumental works.

Soooooooo anyone looked at the music listed in the new episodes' credits yet? Can't see any postings so I'll start the ball rolling with parts 1 & 2:

Part 1
American Woman (David Lynch Remix)
MUDDY MAGNOLIAS - Original track here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=58ozSIN_3Xk

Sub Dream
DAVID LYNCH AND DEAN HURLEY

Frank 2000
THOUGHT GANG

Part 2
Shadow (Radio Edit)
CHROMATICS

video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IGUboLZx3Tk

Awesome that Thought Gang is in there! I seem to think there was once going to be a Thought Gang album......
I loved the "Bad Coop Driving" music espesh as there was so little music (relatively) in parts 1 & 2. It's awesome that it is a Lynch Remix.
That guy has been busy! Can u imagine co-writing and directing the whole lot and supervising editing AND contributing music including new remixes???!!

I hope Dave can have a little holiday now, he's earned it!!!!!!

It'll be a shame if we get separate vocal and instrumental albums. One of the reasons the first season CD was – and remains – such a great seller is that perfect blend of instrumentals and Julee Cruise tracks. After all these years, it remains a go-to disc for chilled out evenings and Falling remains an absolute guaranteed part of any easy listening compilation.

But thematically they may not fit together. julee Cruise was singing over Angelo's music and these are contemporary artists now performing at the end of each part.

Oh, absolutely. But one might have hoped there would have been two, maybe three songs that could have blended in. The Chromatics track would work with some of Angelo's past stuff, for example.

Lost Highway's release had everything together. I assume what they're doing here is a release for all these special credits insert songs, then the "main mix" which is going to be mostly Badalamenti but with key pieces too.

Can someone identify the piece used during Dougie-Coop's arrival at work?
Was that one of the old Solo Percussion tracks, or something new?

Wow two of my favorite oldies and I am a slut for oldies ! Booker T & the MG's and Santo & Johnny. In their entirety , because you can't chop up a good track, bless Lynch's heart.

I was just wishing on the other thread how it would be all "I love how you love me" moments, and no hipster crap.

Really so thankful for this gift tonight <3

I think it's Solo Percussion 4

I'm loving all the music for this thing. I've been gathering everything I can find from each episode for my ever-growing soundtrack.
