ASCAP Listings for Angelo

Post by Sam Howzit »

I was toying around on the ASCAP website. I'm really not sure what it does other than list the works that have ASCAP protection (?) and list who published the music (?). I did a search for Angelo's work and found this:

Angelo Badalamenti

I particularly liked entry 715 - Cool Cool Kyle?

And 714 - Norwegians!!!

And did anyone else notice on the liner notes for the Season 2 CD feature different song names than the back of the CD? For example, they list "Credit Boogie" which I'm guessing means "Hayward Boogie." And there is "Abstract Mood" to which I'm unsure of the CD title.

I wonder if 'Diner' is the MT Wentz revelation track, an exquisite version of Falling - I'd taken to calling it 'Double R'? I wonder if the track from Ben's cinefilm reminiscing is there, I had heard on the internet that it was called Remembrances, but that is not listed.

Curious to know why Mr Badalamenti wrote a piece of music for Teri Hatcher, Hugh Laurie and other luminaries...some award ceremony?

Angelo wrote the theme to Inside the Actor's Studio on Bravo. So, I'm guessing that "Teri Hatcher" refers to the episode with her, etc.
