I just found this on the Dunenovels forum; it's playing this year at Cannes and it's hoped it will generate interest in actually doing a new Dune movie.

Wow, that sounds interesting. But it sounds like a bit much with all the potential star power. And they still ending up saying David's version was bad, which makes me mad.
