Just picked up the Korean (official..I think???) "Ulimate Edition" of Dune and it is the ULTIMATE Edition. 4 Discs total!

I picked it up from the YesASIA (similar to amazon.com) website:

http://us.yesasia.com

It's around $28.00 and they sent it with FREE shipping!!!

When you order it says this is a Region 3 disc. It's not, it's Region 1-6 so it plays fine on U.S. players!

Having scanned through it, it seems to have the best pieces of every addition out there one of them being an actual interview with David Lynch talking about Dune in 1985 (from the latest French DVD release) and the other being the "Destination Dune" documentary (from the Lastest UK DVD release).

Quality is fantastic and in DTS and the subtitles can be turned OFF (this is a good thing!)

Here are the specs:

That sounds truly amazing, moviemaker! I'd really like to get it; any indication it would only be around for a limited time? I think I'll try to write the site. Thank you for posting that! I'm rereading all Frank Herbert's DUNE books, so it's very timely for me now.

I have just received an email from yesasia.com saying that they weren't able to find the requested product anywhere!

Wow...already sold out...or what?

Here is the barcode for the DUNE Ultimate Edition if that helps: 8809113259952

Put in that number in google and found the DVD for sale here:

Hope this helps.

P.S. I've seen it for sale on eBay as well. Just make sure the seller is reputable.

Hey moviemaker! That link works, but it looks like you have to have a region free DVD player--is that what you have?
