Eraserhead Soundtrack - Deluxe Vinyl Ltd Reissue

Looks very nice- sorely tempted to pick one up.... Despite not having a turntable

Anyone here grabbed one of these?
Very interested to hear the previously unreleased track 'Pete's Boogie' there's a few samples of the track on various retailers of the vinyl and sound pretty good.
Looks like there will be digital versions available as well if you dont fancy the vinyl- though I would think the main album itself uses the same remaster as the Lynch released Soundtrack Plus version.

I'm a fan of Sacred Bones Records so I grabbed one right when they went on sale. I'm waiting on my preorder which I'll hopefully have by next week. They pressed 1500 of these and sold out in a few weeks which surprised me. They also had 300 limited versions which sold out in a couple days. They are now repressing 1000 more which will be the final pressing. So grab one now if you're thinking about it because they because i doubt they will be around that much longer.

Here' a quote from Lynch on it:

"Pitchfork: Do you ever listen to the soundtrack album yourself?

DL: I haven't listened to it for a long time. I've been waiting for this album. I think they've been working on it for a couple of years, and they did such a great job. It's going to be great to play that vinyl and hear it kind of the way it was in the original. Alan Splet was one of my dearest friends, so I'm happy that this soundtrack came out and put sparkle on his memory. "

Great article and lots of vintage pictures. Here's my favorite:
And note there's a special showing in San Francisco Aug. 16.

Mine was waiting for me when i got home on Friday. So they will be there soon. Looks like the differences are that it has a special numbered paper sleeve for the cover with a wax seal and it also includes a large poster. I'll hopefully have time to listen to it this week.

Yep, that's what Sacred Bones said when I asked them about the differences; outer sleeve and large poster.

My wife said mine came Saturday but I'm out of town til next weekend, so I'll have to wait, but looking forward to it.

Mine finally came, looks beautiful-listening tonight!

Would be cool if the rest of DL's soundtracks got this treatment.

Did it include my Eraserhead 'Dance Remix' from the EH 2000 CD soundtrack release?

No dance remix. It just included the LP soundtrack plus a bonus 7" with "In Heaven" and the previously unreleased "Pete's Boogie".
