New print of "Eraserhead" on big-screen

I was privilaged to see "Eraserhead" last weekend in Chicago at the Gene Siskel Film Center. Having seen and studied this film countless times, I walked in thinking "Oh, this will be kinda neat."
Nothing could have prepared me for the experience I would have.
The print was about as crisp and clear as it's gonna get, which was lovely to behold.. but the SOUND! The audience was bombarded by Lynch's incredible sound design. I had never noticed it so much before.. it made each scene so intense! Once the film was over and the lights came up, the audience just sat there in a daze. My ears were ringing, like I had just been to some crazy concert. I had no idea seeing this on the big screen would be such an experience!! I will never forget it!!!
