I'm not sure what the motivation was in going into that much detail about her physical pain and addiction. A lot of people in Hollywood seem to be telling those types of stories these days, so maybe it was just getting on the rehab bandwagon.

Or maybe it was just a way to plug the movie. That's the first place I've read that Surveillance will be in theaters on March 6.
