Rockin' good news! I was just thinking I would like IE for my birthday in August. And now, maybe, maybe.
Through the darkness of futures past,
the magician longs to see
One chants out,
between two worlds,
fire walk with me.

Brilliant, this is going to be a very satisfying year in the DL department for me.

Well, Amazon.com in the US doesn't even list it; is this because it will only be available through DL.com?

I don't think so.

The trailer on the "Twin Peaks: Season 2" dvd (disc 1) says that it is coming on August 14th. Didn't mention anything about being at DL.com exclusive.

Variety reports interesting news about the dvd of IE and the upcoming Lynch doc:

"A half-hour piece of the docu titled "Lynch 2" also has been included on the DVD of "Inland,"
which Rhino Entertainment will release on homevid Aug. 14.
"

So the "behind the scene" reported by rykodistribution is a portion of the LYNCH doc screening these days at cannes.

Isn't that an interesting article? I was going to post it until I saw your post. So I wonder if they are expecting us fans to buy the documentary, too, in addition to everything else!

For UK / Region 2 customers, the best pre-order price appears to be HMV, who are selling at £11.99 (including p+p).

I ordered mine for £10.99, using a £1.00 discount code... :)

I am very interested to know if there are differences between region 1 and 2 releases... Guess we'll know it in a month or two.

Amazon.com has two release dates on the same page, July 24 and August 14. Guess we'll see. And it's an $11 discount from the regular price. I also noticed that there and Amazon.co.uk there are no movie reviews. First time I've ever seen a blank slate on Amazon. Anybody here care to rectify that situation?

It happens.
See another example:

It was without any reviews when I submitted this reply, not sure it will stay like this . :)
