Quantum Leap

Is anyone here into Quantum Leap? When I first saw Dean Stockwell's name in the opening credits on Blue Velvet, I got really excited, and after I saw the Ben scene, I got even more excited. Ben was quite a departure from Al, the part I was used to seeing him play (even though I know BV came before QL). Even now, the Ben scene is my favorite scene in BV, and possibly my favorite film scene of all time. Anyway, I think QL is an awesome show. Definitely one of the greatest premises for any TV show. Too bad nobody here in the UK (where I'm studying) seems to know about it.

I totally agree; I loved Quantum Leap back in the day. (I lost my cable, so I have no idea if reruns are still on...) Wonder what ever happened to Dean Stockwell. Didn't like seeing "Sam" on Star Trek.

There are reruns of it on the Sci-Fi channel, but its also out on DVD. I'm not a Trekkie (though I've liked what I've seen of the original series) but I have heard complaints about Enterprise from friends who are.
