Hey SMILLSOID, you need to toot your own horn and let everyone know that you and your wife started that forum. I took a peek, and it's very detailed and has a lot of impressive discussion!!

We've been tooting like there's no tomorrow, but still nobody shows up! Thanks for your kind comments, Annie - we were feeling decidedly unloved. :(

I signed up for the Stanley Kubrick forum and I can't fault the quality of the content there, my only quibble is that the Yuko Forum platform seems pretty shakey and very slow to load pages at times. Have you considered porting it over to phpBB?

Thanks for letting me know. I think the problem is that my wife normally pays a monthly subscription via PayPal, so that the forum has an 'ad-free' status. However, her back-up funding card has expired, and her new bank card is in her married name, but PayPal insist on her providing a passport, to change her name on the account!
.
Hopefully, she'll get this sorted out soon, and once there aren't adverts plastered everywhere, it should work better - as it certainly did before. I'll suggest to her that she considers porting to phpBB. In the meantime, please keep contributing to our forum, as we're very lonely... :(

Have you thought about publicising it via a Twitter account? I'm @online_inquirer there, I shall give it a few liberal tweets and see if I can drum up some footfall. :)

My site gets about 5,000 visitors a month, who I imagine are mostly movie buffs so you never know?! ;)
