Re: Music, Music, Music!!!!!!!!!!!!!
For the last couple of weeks I've been listening mainly to two things, as different form each other as can be:
1. Tom Waits.
Anything I could lay my hand on! The album I listened to the most was definitely Blood Money, but also Rain Dogs and Alice and some of the older stuff from the 70s as well. I've always had a thing for Tom Waits but especially this February was by far HIS month at my home. Well, February gone, this morning I woke up very early and played myself some Rain Dogs, too!
2. classical music, especially Chopin and Beethoven.
Whenever I was getting tired of Tom's hoarse nighttime expression, I yearned for some classical beauty... Chopin's sonatas, mazurkas and polonaises, Beethoven's Kreutzer sonata, Egmont overture or the 3rd piano concerto... which I am listening to right now!
Well, and sometimes, when I would feel like listening to something strong, I'd listen to - Metallica. I love the DVD concert from the ancient arena in Nimes, I rewatched that last weekend, listened to Ride the Lighting, Black Album and Death Magnetic, too.
Waits, classical, Metallica. There was hardly anything else I listened to in the past weeks.
