Brilliant writing this episode. All I felt was lacking was the stellar acting of a Colin Hanks.

I started the first book this morning. So far the characters in the show are spot on.

Will the 8 season of the show willbe it's last?

According to the actors it will be. It seems Showtime and/or the producers are being a bit coy at the moment.

The way the past few seasons have been going, I think it's time it comes to an end.

Dexter as a show died at the inception of season 5.

Well, it's official - it's final season. Show got it worst moments but still they were better than Little Nicki subplot

With the return of the Hannah character for season 8 and the astounding Hannibal on NBC I hardly care anymore. Some shows I just keep watching with the fast forward button handy. I hope Dexter season 8 won't be one of those.

I agree, Hannibal puts Dexter to shame.
