Welcome! I thought i would start a thread to focus upon the merchandising of Twin Peaks worldwide as well as all aspects of collecting and preserving our favorite show. We don't usually think that most prime time U.S. television shows will produce the range of products that Twin Peaks eventually produced (For the longest time this seemed to be the exclusive grounds for cult British shows like Doctor Who or The Avengers)
However, as soon as the show started to create a buzz i'm sure product ideas started to buzz in the minds of Mark Frost and various money minds at Lynch/Frost and ABC. I thought we should start off looking at the initial products offered around the first season.

-Soundtrack cd
Sort of a no brainer here. This sold well and i'm not sure why a further volume was not offered sooner.

-Luara Palmers Diary (Book)
Story information wise, it might be the most crucial piece of merchandising released to date. Written by Jennifer Lynch

-The Autobiography of FBI Special Agent Dale Cooper: My
Life, My Tapes (Book)
Written by Scott Frost. Exerpts from Dale Cooper's diary starting when he was a child

-Twin Peaks access guide to the town (Book)
An amusing guide to the town.

-Twin Peaks Behind The Scenes: An Unofficial Visitors
Guide to Twin Peaks (Book)
An all-around guide to the series up to half way through the second season.

-Diane ... The Twin Peaks Tapes of Agent Cooper (Audio cassette)
Audio passages culled from Cooper's microcassette recorder.

-Twin Peaks Card Art
A set of 76 trading cards in a box. I will post more detail about this in an upcoming post.

Much more to come including remaining U.S. products, worldwide releases, original screen used props and lots of pictures. Do you have something unique like an original prop or autographed item? Let's see it!

Hey all. Over the next few weeks, I'm going to go through and clean this entire thread so it can remain as sort of a Twin Peaks collectors museum. It will make it a lot more fun to look through.

One thing you can all do for me is the following:

1. When posting items, post the pictures straight to the board using the attach feature. This way if images are taken down at external sites, then there won't be a blank spot where your picture once was.

2. Try not to post links unless you are giving credit to someone for their photos as again, these links can become stale after time leading agin to a broken link.

Commenting is OK, but keep in mind that since I am trying to keep this thread as a "Collectors Museum", I will be doing a semi-regular cleanup on this thread.

I'll see if I can get pics of my Cannes program. Actually, I remember someone online made a PDF of it once. If I can find it, I'll link it as it is a beauty!

Not sure how rare these are but I found them in a book store as they were "the Men of Twin Peaks" and "the Women of Twin Peaks" plastic bookmark cards.
