It looks like an owl symbol, yet different from the one we've seen before.

That's because it's referring to the giant owl described in The Secret History.

Hope I'm right on this one.
I'm now becoming more and more convinced of this. Giant owl or not, the symbol represents an even greater (evil?) spirit that DoppelCoop wants to 'be with'. Just like Jeffries wants to 'be with' BOB.

Yes, both a nuclear test and the proposition of the big bang theory took place on 4/1/1952.

Let's also find those numbers in another scene.

The Drugged Out Mother says 119 four times, and there's an open deck of cards on her table.

Four 119 and 52

it does get ruddier once he is inside with the eyeless lady. to me she seems like a black lodge dweller, but then when I see a giant floating garland briggs head i've gotta think that's white lodge-associated...
do any of you think we have seen the white lodge at any point in the new series yet? another scene that made me wonder was when the white horse appears in the red room/black lodge/whatever the fuck. Basically i just wanna know what people think about these spirit world locations we've been visiting and how to categorize them.
I think the white lodge is seen when Cooper talks to the Giant, the b/w scene. He doesn't have the FBI pin, therefore it happened after the amazing purple room scene. And the Giant mentions that now he is in his house.
That must be the white lodge.

Theories & Speculation (SPOILERS)

Another small detail, it might be a useless detail.
The cross street to Sycamore St (when droolingCoop rides with Jade) is Little Rock, AR. Little Rock is in ... Pulaski County.

These aren't useless details. The White Lodge is using signs and words to influence Dougie Cooper to rediscover himself as Good Dale. The Black Lodge is tempting him and trying to corrupt him. He's just an empty shell and could go either way.

From the Lynch interview:
I also always say the whole thing exists in another room as a complete puzzle, all the parts are together, and someone from that other room is sort of a rascal and randomly flips parts over into this room. And then you to have to put the puzzle together, but one is from the end of the story, one is from the middle, and a couple from the beginning, and you won’t know until it’s more formed what it could be.
Could be a hint that we're not necessarily seeing everything play out in order.

Not gonna lie: I am starting to come around to the reddit theory that Hailey Gates' crackhead mom ("119!") and her kid watching Dougie's spot at Rancho Rosa are some corrupted and/or new version of the Tremonds/Chalfonts.

Let's go all the way down the fucking Lynch-hole!

Also: IMO that DOES sound a lot like Chris Isaak on the Bad Dale's call to "Jeffries".

Would love it if Chet Desmond had some sort of role to play in this series. And it would retroactively make FWWM a bit tighter of a story. Desmond's disappearance always felt too much to me like a "deus ex machina" device to get Coop into the plot thread.
Welcome...to the third...place.

Random dumb thought about the use of "Take Five" in part 4:

Take One: Lodge Coop
Take Two: Evil Coop
Take Three: Dougie Jones
Take Four: Rain Man Coop
Take Five: Restored Coop?

Its time signature is five-four - maybe a hint to Coop about his birth year - '54? This one has me stumped, too.

I also have a theory on that:
Spoiler:
It's a really good and classic song and fits the scene perfectly.

But he's with James. I feel James could be even more of a goody two shoes this time around.
Man... you made me re-watch that scene just now and it gave me nostalgic shivers from tip to toe.. Can't wait to delve in to Twin Peaks (the town) further.

Btw: James is looking at Shelly, right?

Btbtw: Who's that other guy making the pistol sign to Shelly?

The evolution of the arm. I'm happy with the current creepy, absurd look, but its current evolution suggests further change/growth is possible.

It's limb-like structure suggests a nervous system. Of what, ultimately?

The 119 woman seemed to me to be someone like Sarah Palmer, someone spiritually sensitive who has had to dull her impressions of the Black Lodge entities, or evil acts in general, with drugs and booze.
