Good to see!
I watched the extended clip, & it kind of became a Lynchian comedy moment due to how long the clapping goes.

Really happy for Lynch and Frost. Evenso, l half wish the crowd had boo-ed them, not that l'm a rebel, but world weariness makes me wary of praise from film buffs, they've lauded of a lot of bad stuff over the past 2 decades. Case in point, John Carpenter's Ghosts of Mars is universally ridiculed, but it was a masterpiece. I'm not specifically talking about Cannes so l'll leave it there.
leeeET's ROCK!

I had no idea that "film buffs" all acted in unison.
Lovely moment for DL - they deserve it, what a triumph!

I'm happy he get standing ovation. That pretentious booing back then must have been painful to David Lynch. Tide turn and I'm very glad for him.StrangerDanger wrote:Really happy for Lynch and Frost.
