I'm pretty sure that Alica has confirmed that she's playing Gersten and that she filmed in WA back in fall 2015.
This is - excuse me - a damn fine cup of coffee.

I'm doubtful we'll see Doc Hayward again. The lack of the rest of the Haywards on the cast list seals it for me.
Well, Gersten was a musician, it could be fun if some of the Roadhouse performers were also characters on the show who exist outside those musical intermissions (I don't know if Riley Lynch's Bing counts, the dyed hair made it seem like it might have been a different "character")

By the way, MoondogJR, I love this thread. Thanks for keeping track of this, it's always interesting.

ok everyone, here ya go - a spreadsheet with columns for:
the complete cast list that was announced on april 25, 2016
the character that cast member plays
which episodes of season 3 they appear in
which location the character is first seen in season 3
and a few other details that will help you remember those with smaller roles
also
a blank character name if they haven't appeared yet
a bold actor name if they weren't on the original cast list
an asterisk for returning cast/characters from S1/S2/FWWM/TMP

here it is:
https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/ ... dGsCR8woaA

i'll update it within a day of each new episode.

Halfway through, time for an update :)

- we saw 157 actors from the 217 on the announced cast list
- 60 to go
- from those 60 I suspect at least 3 will be musicians (Eddie Vedder, Julee Cruise and Finn Andrews)
- 9 actors were credited that weren't on the cast list of which 2 (Silva and Davis) were archieve footage
- from those we haven't seen yet I'm personally most looking forward to see Alon Aboutboul, Monica Bellucci, Frank Collison, Julee Cruise, Sherilyn Fenn, Bellina Logan, Everet McGill, Carlton Lee Russel, John Savage and Alicia Witt
- Kyle Maclachlan and Sheryl Lee were credited in all parts
- Michael Horse: 8
- Harry Goaz and Brent Briscoe: 6
- Jane Adams, Chrysta Bell, Miguel Ferrer, Robert Forster, David Lynch, Kimmy Robertson and Naomi Watts: 5
- Madchen Amick, George Griffith, David Patrick Kelly, James Morrison, Don Murray, John Pirucello and Al Strobel: 4
- Richard Beymer, Laura Dern, Patrick Fishler, Pierce Gagnon, Hailey Gates, Andrea Hays, Mathew Lillard, Karl Makinen, Adèle René, Tom Sizemore, Russ Tamblyn and Christophe Zajac-Denek: 3

Interesting that ten out of the top 11 most-credited characters are law enforcement agents. (I'm not including Sheryl Lee, since she has only appeared in new footage once).

Two quick corrections: You list Carolyn P. Riggs as not having yet appeared; she appeared (credited as "Carolyn Pennybaker Riggs") as a member of Sharon Van Etten's band in Part 6.

And you fail to list an actress from the list of 217 who has yet to appear: DKL's wife Emily Stofle (as distinct from Mary Stofle, who played Ruth Davenport's head and may be a relation to Emily, but is clearly a different person).
