By the way, MoondogJR, I love this thread. Thanks for keeping track of this, it's always interesting.
Maybe Alicia will play piano at a funeral.

I'm doubtful we'll see Doc Hayward again. The lack of the rest of the Haywards on the cast list seals it for me.

a blank character name if they haven't appeared yet

here it is:

i'll update it within a day of each new episode.
Two quick corrections: You list Carolyn P. Riggs as not having yet appeared; she appeared (credited as "Carolyn Pennybaker Riggs") as a member of Sharon Van Etten's band in Part 6.

And you fail to list an actress from the list of 217 who has yet to appear: DKL's wife Emily Stofle (as distinct from Mary Stofle, who played Ruth Davenport's head and may be a relation to Emily, but is clearly a different person).
good catches. corrections made. thank you!

I guess this is the best place to note that the Part 10 credits corrected the spelling of Amy Shiels's name. In her last appearance, whoever types the credits apparently got carried away with Candie/Sandie/Mandie mania and dubbed her "Amie."

I'm getting to appreciate more and more the way the creators make reading the end credits into an art ;)

I mean, really. At first I thought it was stupid - that I wouldn't know such a fundamental thing as Richard's surname being HORNE without doing such an irrelevant thing as reading the credits. More than that, just watching on TV makes it actually impossible because they roll too fast, it's a thing you have to study frame by frame. But there was more and more of that, and finally yesterday - if it in fact turns out that Chad got the wrong letter but the ONLY way to deduce that is simply by reading in the credits that it was a different Miriam, then well... I'm starting to accept that it's just a WAY. A game chosen to play by Lynch & co.

But apart from that, imagine: you are not on any message board; you don't reallly follow any peaks-news on facebook or whatever; you don't have crazy fans who know everything. You just watch The Return week by week on TV (even say you rewatch when the television shows it again but you do NOT study the ending credits). Up till yesterday you had no clue that Richard was a Horne. And out of a sudden you watch a scene when this Richard approaches a house and calls Sylvia Horne grandma?! And then THIS scene!??!?!? Can you imagine the emotional impact?

And now there's a "Paul" appearing in the credits, actor Greg Mills. My guess is that he's the person in the photo with Bad Coop.

Edit: Wasn't paying attention apparently! He's just a news anchor

I'm assuming Emily Stofle isn't going to appear and this was just a mistake on the list, a mix-up with Mary Stofle who has appeared as Ruth Davenport.

I'd guess that Emily Stofle will appear. DKL has cast her a few times in his little minor projects since IE (Boat, an Out Yonder episode, a bit role in Lady Blue Shanghai). I can't imagine he wouldn't find a role for her in this, albeit likely a minor one. Mary Stofle being left off the list of 217 isn't super strange since she's not a speaking role. I wouldn't read too much into it.

We saw two thirds of TPTR. From the 217 actors on the cast list we already saw 178 actors. So (only) 39 to go.
From those 39 I think at least 3 (Finn Andrews, Julee Cruise and Eddie Vedder) will be performers in the Roadhouse.

We also saw 10 credited actors who weren't on the cast list of which 2 were merely archieve footage.

Actors I'm looking most forward to to see in the last 6 parts: Alon Aboutboul, Monica Bellucci, Julee Cruise, Frank Collison, Bellina Martin Logan, Everet McGill, Carlton Lee Russel and John Savage.

Kyle MacLachlan en Sheryl Lee were credited all 12 parts.
Michael Horse: 11
Chrysta Bell, Miguel Ferrer and David Lynch: 8
Brent Briscoe, Robert Forster and Kimmy Robertson: 7
Jane Adams, Harry Goaz, David Patrick Kelly and Naomi Watts: 6
Madchen Amick, Richard Beymer, Laura Dern, Pierce Gagnon, James Morrison, Don Murray, John Pirruccello, Tom Sizemore, Al Strobel and Russ Tamblyn: 5
Catherine E. Coulson, Patrick Fishler, George Griffith, Ashley Judd, Matthew Lillard, Sarah Jean Long, Harry Dean Stanton and Christophe Zajac-Denek: 4

Wow, David Patrick Kelly is tied with Naomi Watts and Goaz for number of episodes! Granted, he would rank a lot lower in a comparative reckoning of screentime, but still...who would have thought!
