- Cooper going through the case files at Dougie's house - Incredibly moving
- Harry Dean Stanton and the death of the child at the intersection
- The trip through the atomic bomb explosion and the reveal of Senorita Dido in the gramophone room
- The creation of Laura Palmer's "orb" - How do I rectify the fact that I'm not a fan of any predestination narrative with the fact that this scene made me cry?
- A brief moment with the two teens lingering outside the girl's house in 1956; as affecting an interstice as a similar scene with Henry lingering outside Mary X's door in Eraserhead, which strangely comes away as one of the more haunting scenes in the film
- Every scene involving the glass box - Immediately iconic
- Becky's drug trip in the car

Re: Favourite part so far (SPOILERS)
Too many to mention but pretty much every scene with Gordon Cole has been a highlight for me this season. I'd also have to give a shoutout to Ben Horne's wonderful "That, my dear, is a long story" reply to Bev's question about Coop.

Re: Favourite part so far (SPOILERS)
(I know others have mentioned some of these, but there you go)
- 'Albert... Albert... Albert' and Cole frowning perplexedly in the pale blue light of day.
- Frank Truman's wife Doris pulling open her coat in exasperation.
- Evil Coop's mechanical repetition of his explanations to Cole from behind the screen in prison interview.
- Carel Struycken's character implicating me in the story as the alarm bell blares.
- The wildly different facial expressions that appear on Senorita Dido's face as the light flashes and plays over its surface.
- The moment I read 'convenience store' on the gas station mock-up; further, discerning the silhouette of cans stacked up inside.
- Pretty much all DougieCoop/Sonny-Jim interactions
- The whole Mauve Room experience. The extraordinary body language of American Girl as she tells Cooper to hurry.
As a matter of fact, 'Chalfont' was the name of the people that rented this space before. Two Chalfonts. Weird, huh?

I got goosebumps just reading that. Phoebe was perfect in that scene.Novalis wrote:The extraordinary body language of American Girl as she tells Cooper to hurry.

jim belushi and robert knepper in part 10 might be my favorite stuff so far, they're hilarious
Re: Favourite part so far (SPOILERS)
Yeah, I love everything about them. Can't wait for the eventual showdown with Coop.dud wrote:jim belushi and robert knepper in part 10 might be my favorite stuff so far, they're hilarious
This is - excuse me - a damn fine cup of coffee.

Same here. The casino scene was great. Candie, the security camera, the lukewarm reaction to the revelation that Mr. Jackpots is after them. Wonderful stuff.dud wrote:jim belushi and robert knepper in part 10 might be my favorite stuff so far, they're hilarious

Definitely the 30's room while the record was spinning. It reminded me of some of my favorite early 30's gangster pictures. Like this scene in Night After Night
