Favourite part so far (SPOILERS)
For me it was actually when the dispatcher lectured Chad and basically all us viewers, not to judge too fast about things we dont know much about. Many have people like Trumans wife in our life, at least in the periphery like a parent of one of your kids friends or, the wife or husband of a friend etc etc. This moment was really cleverly set up over a few episodes and Lynch drove the lesson home perfectly lumping all of us together with CHAD. The scene also showed Frank Truman as a beautiful human being.

The mauve room scene, or whatever we're calling it. Instantly one of my favorite things DKL has ever done. Hope we get back to more outright surreal stuff soon.
Jacoby's tirade, and the brief scene of Sarah are also way up there. DougieCoop looking at the statue. Too many others to name!

I somehow think Coop is in for more of the outright surreal before he comes back. Something tells me Dougie isn't going to last.Mr. Reindeer wrote:The mauve room scene, or whatever we're calling it. Love that bit too. A similarly small moment from not long afterwards -- in the back of the limo just after they've pulled up at the red door; the limo driver gets out & walks around back to open the car door & Coop does this little surprised jump/sound. Gets me every time.Mairzy wrote:A very small moment, but Coop sniffing Bill Shaker's hot dog.

Re: Favourite part so far
There's many of course. But The Mauve Room scene stands out. (I also liked drugged Becky in the car very much).

The mauve room
Richard's introduction in the Roadhouse (incredible all round)
Casino
I Love How You Love Me
Coffee elevator skit
Albert and Gordon's hushed discussion at the end of E4 (which for my money is the best single scene we've had so far)

Re: Favourite part so far
"I died . . . yet I live." What an amazing scene.
Also, I'd like to add the scene between Cole and Denise. A lot of fans didn't like this scene, but it brought me nothing but pure joy. Denise ROCKED IT!
I also enjoyed it because I don't remember the characters having a scene together from the original series, but I could have forgotten. Old school vs. new school.

Every scene with Bill Hastings
Carrie Page: "It's a long way... In those days, I was too young to know any better."
Re: Favourite part so far
my favorite scene has to be Gordon meeting bad coop, such chilling dialogue! one of my favorite lynchian things is dialogue that is vaguely mysterious or slightly off, you don't completely know what it means but it evokes strong unsettling emotions.
'ive never really left home, Gordon'
'of course I will be exonerated in courts of law'
'ive left messages.'
the repetition of 'i was on my way to give it to you, I was running a little behind schedule when my car veered off the road and I had my accident'
