If you could go back in time...

Post by Jerry Horne »

...and spend one day on the set of Twin Peaks, what day would you choose?

I think I would choose the day that they filmed both Leland/BOB and Ben Horne killing Maddy...

Holy jumpin... that is a good question.

I might aim for the episode (3?) with the chalkboard and rocks and oven mitts and all. That seemed like a bit of... an opening of a door. I want to talk to you about... TIBET.

And the dream.

would have to be episode 14, the pilot, or ep 29. 14 though, just to see what all was shot in what is (imo) the most powerful scene of the series.

Good choice. I've always wondered if they built a Buenos Aires hotel set.

As for FWWM, I've always been obsessed with the scenes that took place after the series. So I would choose the day they shot that nurse taking Annie's ring. I'm assuming if there was to be a second film, she would be involved. Curious.

The scene was filmed on a set and they did build a complete Buenos Aires Hotel set and filmed all scenes with Bowie from the script.

Wow. You would also think that these David Bowie scenes would be a good selling point for a special edition DVD release. Amazing also, is how few pictures have surfaced over the years from the deleted scenes. At this point, I'd be happy if they released some frame grabs right off the film negative.

I can't remember exactly which episode this was in, but I call the scene "Love in TP". It's the scene with Gordon Cole and Shelly and Coop meeting Annie. The music coupled with the overall giddy feeling I get when watching this makes me wish that I was just casually sitting at the bar at the RR...

I believe it's in episode 25 and I'd go there too. I call it "The Penguin Joke Scene".
