Windom's Deck

This could be tough. I've tracked down what brand of cards that Windom uses, however, I'm wondering now if the pictures he uses of Audrey, Shelly and Donna are taken from pre-existing publicity photos or not. In other words, can you match the heads he cuts out and sticks to the cards with any known photo? If we can match all three, well, who knows what unofficial merchandising we can come up with?

The one of Cooper would be fairly easy to copy from this scan as it's shot fairly straight on, unlike the shots of the girls that seem to be more at an angle. However, it would be nice to source a photo.

of course they are publicity shots -Cooper and Audrey's are obvious.

Even back then as a kid, I hated how sloppy this was.

the Audrey one is from one of the various james/donna/double R diner shoots.

A BIG thank you to the gentleman who sent me angle improved scans of the above pics!

I'm still curious about matching up the photos!

I love that Windom was also at Laura's funeral and snapped a closeup of Audrey staring at Cooper and compiled it on a one sheet with Shelly and Donna for the scene where Leo writes the poem.

By "love" I mean cringe.

Mark Frost described Windom Earle as a cross between Hannibal Lecter and Soupy Sales.

All I know is that he was everywhere...

The picture on the Cooper card appears to have been taken from this publicity photo

I stated a new thread as I'm interested to hear which scenes make people cringe after all of these years.

Scenes that take you out of the moment

i disagree. the shadows are different. from your publicity shot they are all in line with his right cheek. the one on windom's card is from another publicity shot, i can picture it in my head and would search for it but its a bit late in the night for me. its the one where he's holding the dictaphone chest high, while looking at the camera with a slight turn to the camera's right. you can see the shadow of his nose is quite prominate as the lighting seems to be much more to his left, and the shadow on the temple goes to more to his forehead, not just the temple. i know the shadows are ampified when going from color to black and white, but theres really not much of a nose shadow at all. anybody have a copy of the pic im talking about? i vaguely think it might have been a pic used by wip for a cover...

Is this it? I honestly can't remember where I picked it up. Sorry it's small.

The two cooper images are close, but not the correct one. The last one posted, Coop's eyes aren't quite looking the right way. It's very subtle, I think.

I'm think this photo is the exact one. I most recently saw it in the UK Wonderland Magazine article.

OK, you win. But let's save it as an attachment so the board will have it forever...

I'm not convinced these are the same. On the playing card, Coop is looking right at the camera. On the other picture he is looking up and away and seems to have a sterner expression. Just my two cents :D

Still no luck with the Shelly or Donna ones?
