When I first watched FWWM i was amazed at how great this film is (after reading some bad reviews).
The acting is superb (especially Ray Wise, Sheryl Lee, Chris Isaak), great direction, photography, music.
The Phillip Jeffries' rant and Laura's murder are some of my favorite Lynch scenes.

It's a shame there wasn't any follow-up to this film. I'd prefer that to a third season of TP (seeing how it all went downhill in S2).
After all the silliness of S2 (part of it at least) Lynch reminded everyone how dark this story really was. I know some people don't like it because of that, but i really like the dark side of TP.

oh, i almost forgot about that scene:
gets me every time...
perfect editing and his face... not just scary, but EVIL
