Wrapped in Plastic - online archive?
Is there an archive of "Wrapped in Plastic" interviews available on the web? I haven't come across anything like that so I'm guessing the answer is "No, but you can buy old copies on Ebay."
If not, is it possible this could happen or do the owners of WIP not want to distribute the content for free on the net? (My understanding is that new issues of this magazine are no longer published).
Thanks!
Nick

It's been asked of the editors and they said basically, not at this time. Of course the content is copyrighted so they would have to put it up themselves.
As a proud owner of all 75 issues, I urge everyone to seek them out.

I was hoped that they publish it on-line one day. It's been so many years since they started and ended. They should IMO put on-line at least the sold-out issues. It would be great gift to Twin Peaks community, and people that have no chance to read it in paper form (for many reasons). Let's hope one day it will happen.

I never had the ability at that time to subscribe. I really wish they would put them online, as I have yet to ever read a single copy.

You can still order many of the back issues directly from them here:Iamnotwhatiseem wrote:I never had the ability at that time to subscribe. I really wish they would put them online, as I have yet to ever read a single copy.

I have scans of 5 back issues which I found on some forum. I'm sure they're still out there.

They could scan and sell sold out back issues in .pdf format for immediate download: no shipping charges or waiting... They could make some money!Jerry Horne wrote:You can still order many of the back issues directly from them here:Iamnotwhatiseem wrote:I never had the ability at that time to subscribe. I would love that, too.

Re: Wrapped in Plastic - online archive?
I did a quick search but couldn't find any mention of the fact that Craig Miller, co-editor and publisher if WiP passed last week.
Although I had next to no contact with him once WiP called it a day, during the 13 years of its publication he was always kind, generous and even gave me some space within the pages of the magazine for my occasional witterings.
TP fandom would be much, much poorer without all his work and he'll be much missed by family and friends I am sure.
And I'll see you
And you'll see me
And I'll see you in the branches that blow
In the breeze,
I'll see you in the trees
Under the sycamore trees

Very much sad news. He was way too young.

I am very saddened to hear this. My thoughts are with his family and friends.
And nothing but the deepest admiration for all his contributions over the years.

God, I love this music. Isn't it too dreamy?
Re: Wrapped in Plastic - online archive?
Very sad news indeed. He and John are responsible for fueling my passion of Twin Peaks over the years. My condolences to his family and friends.

Oh my God! I'm shocked. I guess he died from Leukemia. I'm so sorry for his family and the greater Twin Peaks community. I, too, talked to him and ordered WIP from him.
I just posted the obituary that's online.
