FWWM Poster

Post by Annie »

As I recall, when the movie came out, it was relatively easy to get a poster; I have an old one stored away with all my Twin Peaks memorabilia. Wonder why the other movies have such rare posters? (Not that I'd expect IE to have an easy one to get.)

I think it's mostly due to promotional budgets that some films have. I'm guessingthat IE will be the rarest posters to fin since they are doing the whole grass roots marketing for the film whereas FWWM had New Line go all out with commercials on both radio and TV as well as the theater posters posted.

What's funny is at the time it was easier to get the poster (or other promotional material) than it was to see the movie - at least near me.

We had to go several towns over to the only theater that was playing it. But I have a some promotional material that was in my local multi-plex and I remember the tv ads running constantly.
