True crime author Ann Rule and Twin Peaks

I've read a good number of her books. She writes a good deal about serial killers as well as solved cold cases.
In many of her books, she mentions the town of snolqualmie, where many scenes in twin peaks were filmed.
I always hope to read a mention of twin peaks in her books, but I've never come across anything ever.
Anyone an Ann rule fan? I think she and David lynch would share some common interests...
