I was a very, very infrequent poster on TPG, really I was mainly a lurker (much like I am here) but just wanted to add my thanks to Jason for running it while he did. There was some genuinely brilliant stuff on there and a lot of fanscinating analysis, in things like the Black Lodge Encyclopedia. My girlfriend did half of her masters dissertation on David Lynch which I did a hell of a lot of research for and some of the TPG stuff gave us really good starting points for some of her discussions. I'm glad that it'll be available in some capacity eventually. Yes, there was a lot of awful stuff (I started to see the take over by wizardofxenia, myowl, etc.) but hope the good stuff is preserved in whatever form it will eventually take.

Yes Rebs the board was fantastic, sometimes you don't realise how great something is until its' gone. Hopefully we can all make some new friends and happy memories here too! :P

I, too, was sad to see the TPG had folded up shop. I was Danielle0796 there years ago, life happened and I stopped visiting as often. Nice to see some familiar faces here!

I learned about the board's closing too late it seems, I checked in a month or so before the closure and all seemed fine -- a little "ghost town-ish" but that always seemed to be the norm to me (I originally joined in 2010). Glad to see that there are so many familiar faces here at dugpa.
