thanks jlyon, yes I just used a free image making 3d software, it offers a limited amount of settings, and has full color, half color, optimized, etc.

too bad you did not take more 3d video, the 3d was very effective and every twin peaks fan should see it !
I think it was the david lynch dot com track called half heart, that I synced up with your 3d video tour in snoqualmie/northbend (where it all started)
after setting the vlc player to half speed it matched beautifully !

Well, it looks like I will be picking up a 3D TV soon. My main 60-inch TV has finally died and the difference between a 2D and 3D isn't enough to stop me from picking one up to see how it will be.

I know that the 2D to 3D conversion won't be true 3D as Jared pointed out but I am excited nonetheless and when I finally pick one up in the next few weeks, I will report back on the experience.

Picked up a 55-inch 3D LCD set and an Apple TV. Already tried the 2D to 3D simulation and it looks amazing. I'm gonna wait till late tonight to check it out and is all goes as planned I am going to go for a Pilot followed by FWWM double feature tonight.

Awesome! Probably would be ineffective to take pics but would be nice to see anyway

TWIN PEAKS 3D

All I can say is it was mind blowing. The clarity of the 1080p transfer is stunning. Coupled with the simulated 3d on the 2d to 3d conversion from my LCD set made it a great viewing experience. I think since I only watch the series once every few years, I will probably only watch it in 3d from here on out.

There were a few instances that the simulation didn't work so well such as Doc Hayward's suspenders popping out due to the way the simulation works however when it did work, it worked very well in pulling me more into the world we all love.

Now I know that some may think of 3d as a gimmick but I swear when it works to get you to see something you have seen hundreds of times before differently, and almost like it was the first time, regardless of the imperfections, it is a very beautiful thing.

I took a few for you but they are on my phone. Will try to post tomorrow but they aren't much to look at. Just blurry pics and a few with the glasses on in front.

Rewatching series in 3D red/blue anaglyph conversion from 1080p, also the chromadepth 3D glasses look good too - You'll see sparks fly!
Fwwm 3D was surreal!
