Oh man... would be amazing to get Audrey and Cooper in the same place after all these years.SenorDroolcup wrote:Kyle's schedule is up in the air, but the plan for now is to have him at the April 14th finale (fingers crossed that the timing brings in Sherilyn Fenn and Sheryl Lee that night as well).

let's get all three of them there with a crate of Kyle's wine.
God, I love this music. Isn't it too dreamy?

I noticed Peggy Lipton was removed from today's event. Is she no longer attending, I guess?

Wow. Alex Aago up there with all those people. I've met that guy at USC - he's great and so are the questions he asks.
Btw, just saw a 35mm print of FWWM at University of Toronto. The experience was very different from the DVD - the sounds were calibrated so you couldn't actually hear the dialogue all that well in the Bang Bang Bar, Chet had that black fade, and the monkey is inaudible at the end. I could also swear the shot of Laura snapping her finger and pointing down in the bar was a tad different, in that she used one finger in this version, whereas I think the DVD had her use two fingers, but I might be wrong about this.
And, watching the movie this time, I started to think the Angel at the end is merely a way of expressing the idea that Cooper has become Laura's Guardian Angel in the lodge.
Anyway, a great experience and I am super sad that I'm not getting to see this retrospective.

Hey there Jerry -
that's a good clear photo.
Did Robert Engels attend and can you tell us more about what was said? There must have been a similar Q and A to last time, where Frost seemed to be suggesting they're still interested in Twin Peaks creatively.
Engels has always been a good speaker.

Re: Twin Peaks retrospective at USC
Other than Madchen saying that she originally read for the role of Donna, nothing terribly "newsworthy" to report from this panel, but it still was a blast -- even if five episodes in a row is quite a challenge for the non-binger!

Hey there Brie -
can you remember much that Robert Engels spoke about, in summary, please?
I'm sure there's plenty of interesting bits and bobs the spoke about in terms of discussing the show?

Re: Twin Peaks retrospective at USC
Engels didn't seem to speak as much as the cast members, which was both a blessing (it was nice to hear from people you don't usually get to hear from, etc.) and a curse (Engels' unique perspective yields valuable insight, etc.).
