Will there really be a FWWM released with the cut scenes?

I hear that it there will be, but also that David Lynch is finished with Twin Peaks, which doesn't sound hopeful. Will Mk2 do it on their own?

MK2 won't do it on their own. They have been working through the legal hurdles to make it happen. However, I have not heard back from them in a few months. Unfortunately, we have to wait and see.

Well at least we have season 2 on the horizon
I bought the first part from Germany and the sound and picture is very good. The original soundtrack is in 5.1 audio, but the other dubbed language is only in 2 channel sound.
Anyway I wonder if MK2 will let us know if they decide not to keep jumping the legal hurdles, and pull the plug on the FWWM extended version?

In Seattle last week Lynch said their was no progress on this yet but he still hoped to put them out eventually.

somebody has also started a thread on the official MK2 message boards regarding the FWWM deleted scenes. it might be worth checking it from time to time (it's in French btw)
