So, no commentaries at all? I also wonder if putting four episodes a disc is compromising quality a bit (After all, someone had the insight to only put two episodes a disc on season one)

I too am a bit concerned about the potential of compression artifacts. Although dvd compression has come a ways in the last few years.

At first sight, the extras seem a bit disappointing. 6 interviews and log lady intros. Is that all we get after basically 16 years of waiting? Hmm...I was kinda hoping for more. But then again...if I were to get it my way, there would be interviews on every single actor and crew member, commercials, tv spots, tp festival reports etc etc. There would be an extra box worth of bonus material. At least 10-15 discs :)

Don't forget the deleted scenes that have been in fan circles for years.

No word yet. Something is supposed to be out by the end of the year. I hope they don't only offer the Pilot in a full Season 1 & 2 box set.

I am unaware of such TP deleted scenes. Were they shown at one of the Festivals?

I would love any of the new releases to contain deleted or extended scenes (the chances of them still existing are slim, however).

Yes, deleted scenes have been shown at the fest since the mid 90's. Also, Badalamenti lent some unreleased music to the fest that was copied as well.
