HD or BluRay play TP season 2?

Postby sloclub » Mon Apr 23, 2007 10:21 pm

I am enjoying the heck out of my TP Season 2 DVD's. It is like discovering the series all over again. Some of you are noticing problems with the the images on the DVD's. Actually my set seems to be all right. Of course I am watching on the very best late 20th century technology. I wonder who is watching on enhanced DVD (a step up from DVD but not as great as HD or BluRay) and who has seen Season 2 on a BluRay or HD player? Did you find players that won't play the Season 2 DVD's? It seems that there are some problems with some players not playing regular DVD's when they should actually improve the image quality. Of course with the advanced players you probably have a 1080p TV to go with it. I wonder if the increased lines of resolution will help with the darkness on ep 29 for instance.
Through the darkness of futures past,
the magician longs to see
One chants out,
between two worlds,
fire walk with me.
