I was wondering myself if Kyle may be delivering somehing per David tonight. They are doing great building hype among those who already know of the return but they still need one more big promo for the mainstream media. The tonight show would be a great time to show an exclusive scene but at this point it won't surprise me if we don't see any til the premiere which I'm hoping isn't the case. If it really is one 18 hour story then every scene will have meaning unlike serial storytelling which has plenty of open air throwaway scenes. Any footage could give something away and David knows that. I don't think they are torturing us on purpose they said it would be a different type of marketing and releasing something of this magnitude with almost no footage shown prior is unheard of.

Hope we see something tonight or at least have Kyle reveal something new. I'm sure it will just be a cringeworthy interview from Falon not sure if he's a fan or not but he could do a twin peaks skit but that would be asking a lot. I was looking at old shows that aired the same time as the original series and found so many great references. The Snl with Kyle of course there was a Darkwing duck episode and of course my favorite the Sesame Street bit "Twin Beaks" to this day I loose it when Cookie Monster says "Diane?"

As we're so close and so little tangible info has been released, I'm once again inspired to paraphrase a quote that came out during principal photography all those ages ago in late 2015:

"David and Mark are going to present this in a way that's never been done before. "

And while I'll concede my theory of twelve 90min episodes was wrong, getting an 18 hour feature in individual parts is pretty damned innovative and spectacular.

Incredible. It's impossible to imagine that trailer could make me any more hyped, but it did.

First obvious example of CGI there in the first shot. Wonder what the hell that's all about...
