Yeah I like her (first?) album. Regarding the acting ability - have you not seen Twin Peaks before? Some of the acting is questionable to say the least!!N. Re: Mulholland Drive, it doesn't feel disjointed to me and never has. Disorienting, yes, at first, but now it feels extremely easy and practically straightforward. But I will say that thanks to the fabulous Criterion transfer, the first 90 minutes definitely looks noticeably soft compared to the crispness of the final 45. But, that makes sense and arguably works to the film's advantage given most people's theories on the structure of the film.
Meanwhile...I can't believe we're so close!

I know we're wandering off topic, but I have to add: MD the pilot is cheesy as hell in spots. The film ending not only makes sense of that corniness, it turns it into a massive strength.

Has this been discussed? Parts 5-8 now have episode descriptions:
Part 5: Case files.
Part 6: Don't die.
Part 7: There's a body all right.
Part 8: Gotta light?

Is this board going to crash on Sunday? Give us a heads up now and we can donate via paypal to help with server costs. I don't want have to start a new forum myself so willing to donate a bit...

Jerry where'd you get that from? He looks great! Didn't realise how I'd missed Dr Jacoby's wacky appearance till seeing that. Looks like he's going through harder times than his usual positive self. TSHOTP definitely didn't hold back on him.Jerry Horne wrote:...

The Arri cameras they used can do 4k after a software update, I think. At least I know the Amira does 4k now since I used it a few months ago. Not sure of the timeline for TP production tho.TweetPeak wrote:if i remember correctly it was filmed in 2K

'Don't die' followed by 'There's a body all right' doesn't bode well
