Wayward Pines

Some new show based on some novel I never read. The commercials gave off a very Twin Peaks-esque feeling what with the little town and all the trees so I checked out the premiere.
- Somewhat eerie town full of odd people.
- A quaint town name that tricks you into thinking it's a good place while it's actually very very evil.
- Lingering shots of ceiling fans (FWWM, anyone?)
- "There are no crickets in Wayward Pines" (The owls are not what they seem...)
- "Is it happening again?" (It is happening again...)
It's kinda like Twin Peaks had a sexy night in bed with Silent Hill.
