There's another game which is pretty much a complete rip-off of Twin Peaks. The list of similarities is huge. It's about an FBI agent with a dictaphone traveling to a small town to investigate the mysterious murder of a young woman, with many surreal settings.

It's called deadly premonition

Seems like an official game for Twin peaks. Also there is a game called life is strange which has N number of references to twin peaks.

and it's brilliant! A lot of people like it in a "so bad it's good" kind of way, or just enjoy it for it's similarities to Twin Peaks, but I genuinely love it. Great story.

Agreed. Deadly Premonition is far greater than the sum of its parts.

I played Firewatch and reviewed it, if you're curious you can read it here - http://twinpeaksfanatic.blogspot.com/20 ... eview.html

Don't read, if you don't want to be spoiled. :D

I've said this maybe a half-dozen times, but I can't accurately calculate how many hobos I'd ritualistically slaughter in the name of Lynch/Frost if they'd give me a Telltale Games episodic TP roleplaying game set during the past 25 years. Just a side-story of some sort. Sigh. I'll always wonder about the cancelled NES RPG.

Now people are going to call you a hobophobe.

Firewatch was ok if you like very linear walking simulators, and the story was intriguing, but the claim of TP references are, IMHO, a bit exaggerated.

A true Lynch/Frost approved game would totally light my F.I.R.E!
