Silver foil on Einar's suit

Having finally watched my Twin Peaks blu ray on a big screen for the first time, I noticed that in Episode 7, just as Ben and Einar are signing the Ghostwood estate deal, Einar has a odd piece of silver foil wrapped over part of his left lapel. It seems like something done intentionally, it looks like it's covering something but I'm not sure what or why. Any ideas?
