Very cool!
More sharp-eyed and sharp-eared observers than I can probably glean some interesting insights into Lynch's shooting process and decisions from this. Or maybe it's just that I'm tired.

Yeah, it's pretty weird to hear them talk (and scream) in the correct order after so many years hearing the reversed audio. I believe the movements (at least for the spirits of the Lodge) were also shot backwards right?
You think 1069 posts is too much? You should check some other people around here...

Listen to the FWWM soundtrack in reverse. You can hear Waldo calling out Laura's name in the instruments.

Playing it in reverse really shows the effort that went in to it.

Nice catch Can you be more specific on the tracks in which this occurs?Mordeen wrote:Listen to the FWWM soundtrack in reverse. You can hear Waldo calling out Laura's name in the instruments.

(My first post, I'm so nervous!)
Really cool and interesting video. First time I watched the Missing Pieces I wondered if the whole red room (or black lodge, but I tend to think this is the waiting room) could be interpreted in a different linearity, because MFAP says the past and future in that place don't exist. So I've been wondering since then if Earl's stabbing has any connexion with Cooper wandering and bleeding around the red room.

These are the best examples. Approximate time stamps correspond to the track while being played in reverse:Soolsma wrote:Playing it in reverse really shows the effort that went in to it.

"It's Your Father" @ 2:20, 2:30 (multiple)
"Jacques' Cabin - The Train Car" @ 0:10, 1:20, 1:35, 1:42 (multiple)
"Theresa's Autopsy" @ 0:45 (multiple)
Many of the songs from FWWM (most found in the Twin Peaks Archive song list), in particular the songs referenced here sound INCREDIBLE and surreal when played in reverse, even without the hidden gem.

Lynch & Badalamenti have eyes and ears for detail more acute than many give credit. The new soundtrack is going to be sick.
